Use a Digital Wallet with Your Debit Card
A digital wallet can keep an eligible payment card on a compatible phone or watch. Card availability, supported devices, verification, and payment features depend on the card issuer and wallet provider. Check with Noven CreditUnion before relying on a card in a digital wallet.
Check card and device eligibility first
Not every debit card, account, country, or device supports every wallet. Before setup, check the wallet provider’s current requirements and ask Noven CreditUnion whether your specific card is eligible. You may also need a supported operating system, a device passcode or biometric lock, and an account with the wallet provider.
For help with your Noven CreditUnion debit card, see debit card information or contact Noven CreditUnion.
Set up your card through the official wallet app
- Install or open the wallet app that comes with your compatible device, or get it from the device’s official app store.
- Choose the option to add a payment card and follow the instructions shown in the app.
- Enter or scan the card details only within the official wallet app. Review the issuer terms before accepting.
- Complete any verification requested by the wallet provider or Noven CreditUnion. A card is ready only after the app confirms setup.
If the app does not accept your card or asks you to contact the issuer, reach Noven CreditUnion using the details on the Contact page. Never send your full card number, PIN, password, or one-time verification code in an ordinary email or contact form.
Pay with a digital wallet
At checkout, use a wallet only where the merchant and your device support it. Follow the prompts on your phone or watch and confirm the payment using the device’s required authentication. Online and in-app checkout options vary by merchant and wallet provider.
Keep your physical card available while traveling or shopping in case a merchant, terminal, or transaction does not accept the wallet.
Protect the device connected to your card
- Use a strong device passcode and enable automatic locking.
- Keep your operating system and wallet app up to date, and install apps only from official sources.
- Do not share device passcodes, wallet passwords, PINs, or verification codes with anyone.
- If your phone or watch is lost, use the manufacturer’s official lost-device tools to lock or erase it, then contact Noven CreditUnion promptly to ask about your card.
- Review account activity regularly and report transactions you do not recognize through a verified Noven CreditUnion channel.
If setup does not work
Check that the card details match the information on file, the device and wallet app meet current requirements, and the card is eligible. If verification fails or the issuer declines the request, contact Noven CreditUnion directly. The wallet provider and card issuer may each have troubleshooting steps.
For provider-specific setup steps, use the official help pages for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. These instructions do not confirm that a particular Noven CreditUnion card is supported.
